Crazy Lawsuit Against McDonald’s

November 4, 2010 Leave a comment

The ruling against McDonald’s employee in Brazil is ridiculous. McDonald’s should appeal, otherwise, they may face the flood gates of legal liability from all kinds of crazy lawsuits claiming weight gain.

Let’s examine this case a little closer. First, the manager is a “former” employee, so was this man simply fired from the job and became disgruntled? Second, although it was not part of his job, he “felt obligated to test the food”, neither was not obligated to partake in free lunches.

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Do we really want to turn McDonald’s into a fast food lettuce and celery joint?

P.S. Every time there is another scandalous lawsuit against McDonald’s, I cannot help but think

that this is a very smart PR campaign to keep their name in the public eye and close to the consumers’ taste buds. Take away their greasy hamburgers and fries and we may end up with revolutions around the world.
