Dozens Nabbed in International $100M Medicaid-Fraud Ring

As an American lawyer of Russian origin, I am deeply saddened by the entire situation. This major fraud is a step back for the entire hard working, law abiding community of various ethnic groups, who have been steadily immigrating for the past 30 years to the United States from Russia and the former Soviet Republics, Armenia being one of them.

It is a shame that this well-organized crime group would use an elaborate scheme to defraud the US Government of hundreds of Millions of Dollars of much needed Medicaid Funds, designated for the healthcare of American children, the elderly, and the disadvantaged.

It is further disheartening that these gangsters blatantly abused the system which had welcomed them to this country and had provided them and their children with opportunities to live, work and prosper in their new homeland.
